- Lead pilot and multi-site rollouts, from consulting and architecture through to deployment and training.
- Define solution frameworks integrating OT systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS) with IT and business systems (MES, ERP, cloud, data analytics).
- Develop and document best practices for data governance, system interoperability, and scalable architectures.
- Engage directly with clients to assess digital readiness, identify transformation opportunities, and architect roadmaps.
- Conduct workshops and presentations on digital transformation strategy and industrial data solutions.
- Represent LSI at industry events, conferences, and client summits.
- Act as a technical and strategic mentor for junior engineers.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, scoping efforts, and client solutioning.
- Collaborate with leadership to expand LSI’s North American and international DT presence.
Skills & Experience
Core Technical Competencies
- 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or MES.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, process control, and shop-floor workflows.
- Proficiency in Ignition by Inductive Automation, particularly in MES, SCADA, and MQTT architectures.
- Experience integrating OT and IT systems, such as ERP, historians, and analytics platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python and industrial data pipelines.

- Experience with PLC, DCS, HMIs, and other controls level devices is considered a plus.
Consulting & Business Skills
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both engineers and executives.
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, client consulting, and project management.
- Ability to lead discussions on data governance, AI, and analytics enablement.
- Comfortable representing LSI in external settings, conferences, client meetings, or business development discussions.
Preferred Background
- Experience at or collaboration with system integrators or consultancies
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives across life sciences, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience in engineering teams.
