Logical Systems, LLC, a systems integrator in industrial controls engineering, is hiring an IT Support Specialist (TIER 1) Intern in Memphis, TN.

OPPORTUNITY:
As an IT Support Specialist Intern in our Memphis office you will drive the success of the organization by providing a broad range of technical support services to individuals within the organization.  This position will report to the IT Administrator and will enjoy a supportive infrastructure that provides you with the tools to ensure your success.

DUTIES
  • Acts as first point of contact for Information Technology department, receiving requests for IT Support, equipment requisitions, and user queries.
  • Resolves IT support requests received from users, works directly with users in person, on the phone, or via messaging apps.
  • Escalates support request as needed in keeping with IT policies.
  • Documents support request with actions taken and resolution.
  • Installs and troubleshoots workstations, software, and other IT hardware as required.
  • Communicates technical information to non-technical users in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Works with Vendors and 3rd parties as needed to support IT operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Actively pursuing Associates or Certificate in Information Technology or related field
    • Must be in the last 2 semesters/quarters of program or recently completed.
  • Exposure to or familiarity with:
    • Windows Active Directory Domain environments.
    • Windows Server through 2022.
    • Windows 10 and 11 OS.
    • Windows Server Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a Team environment.
Successful candidates will be exposed to and receive training in the following:
  • Microsoft Office 365 environments.
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Outlook, Word.
  • Networking, IPV4, NICs, Switches.
  • Virtualization and Virtual Machines (VMs).
  • IT Troubleshooting and problem solving.
